I'm still tired after the competition yesterday, so I'll just let the pictures explain what happened. (Click to view larger picture)

Winners for the competition:
First place: Samsul ($100 Lust voucher, wheel love and surkrew goodies)
Second place: Cefu (wheel love and surkrew goodies)
Third place: Koo Jinchen (wheel love and surkrew goodies)
Best skater overall: Eyan ($50 Lust voucher)
More details and pictures sometime within next week.
Shout out to: Lust Co for organising and sponsoring the competition, Wheel Love for sponsoring the prizes, all the skaters that joined the competition! You guys are the best! The spectators that were there, even if we had to climb the fences to get in to SOAS! hahaha The 2 photogs that came to the first spot (sorry, didn't catch your names. can we get the pictures so that i can post it here? hehe)
I'd also like to thank my gf, cuz, min, naming, khaliq and those who brought their cameras/vcam for taking pictures and videos of the event. hope you guys can pass me the files so that we can share it here.
I really had a good time! It was a good session... especially at pizzahut! mad respect to cefu! dropped my jaw to the ground man! hahaha i really hope to skate with everyone again.. more regularly... hehehe

TODAY IS THE DAY!!
This is it folks!! Today is THE day! That's right! The day that we've all been waiting for! The BRUNEI ROLLERBLADING COMPETITON!!
We will be meeting up at 2pm at KFC Yayasan! There are 22 skaters registered for the competition! There will be 2 groups as follow:
SPot 1: Yayasan ledges.
Spot 2: Badiah ledges.
Spot 3: SOAS college
Spot 4: Pizzahut
Format:
There will be a 25 minutes session for each of the groups at first spot, i.e. Yayasan ledges (Bintang / Big Flag Pole area).
One group will be the judge of the other group. For example, as Group A sessions at the first spot, Group B would sit down with B as judges. Group B will vote for the top skaters that they think deserve to go to the next round and vice versa. Those eliminated from the rounds would then sit down with B to be the judges for the rest of the rounds.
2 skaters from each groups would be eliminated at each spot. 5 skaters would battle it out at the final spot; Pizzahut rail, Manggis.
There will be 3 winners. Prizes are sponsored by Lust Co, Wheel Love and Surkrew.

Prizes for the competition!
I've just received the goodies from Wheel Love yesterday. These will be included in the top 3 prizes in addition to the other prizes! Will update more as I receive the goods.

If you don't already know about it, MYCK wheels is produced by our Malaysian roller Wheel Love at a really affordable prize. For 1 set (4 wheels), it is B$30. BRUNEI STREET ROLLERBLADING COMPETITION: 16th December 2007
You've heard about it... you've talked about it.. you flew back to Brunei for it... (for a particular person! you know who you are... hahaha) and you might just be wondering what the hell I'm talking about.. well, wonder no more... coz here are the details for the upcoming Brunei Street Rollerblading Competition 2007.
The competition will be held on:
DATE: 16th December 2007 (Sunday)
TIME: 2pm onwards
MEETING PLACE: KFC, Yayasan
As you've probably already know, the spots for the competition is still up for voting. So keep the votes coming in while you still can! The top 4 voted spots will be used for the competition!
But on Sunday (16/12), we will all be meeting up at KFC Yayasan, and there will be a 30 minutes warm up at the ledge just infront of KFC (hopefully security will not be a problem) before we move on to the first spot (to be disclosed during the briefing session).
FORMAT:
The details would be explained better by B himself during the briefing session, but just to give you an idea of what to expect, the format would be as follow:
Depending on the number of skaters joining, the skaters would be randomly divided into groups of 5 skaters.
On each spot, 2 skaters will be kick out on each spot and the rest would move on to the next spot. NOTE: the head judge would be B himself, but other skaters will have to vote for the skaters that they think deserve to move on to the next round! Everybody will be the judge! :D
There will be 3 heat rounds at 3 different spots. The last spot would be for the FINAL. There will be 5 skaters competiting in the final round. Winner takes all. (1 WINNER only!)
The prize? I'm not sure, BUT it'll be worth over hundreds of dollars! That's what B told me. For confirmation, come to the briefing session!!
Oh... i forgot to mention... there will be a minimum entrance fee to join the competition. I THINK, it will be $5 per person. Again, better come to the briefing session on Saturday 15/12/07 to get confirmation.
So to ALL ROLLERBLADERS out there, COME and JOIN the competition!! Support the local scene!
