Updates

Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been pretty busy with work and haven't had enough rest for the last 2 weeks (not that many of you care hahaha)... Anyways, here's a quick update on what has been happening:

1. There was a skate trip down to KB last Sunday (11/5/08). I came abit late, around 4+ if im not mistaken, and the others have been skating already... there were about 15 or more rollerbladers including UT crew, B, Koo, Cefu, Lani, Pin and the other Lambak (and old timers) who just started to skate again! Welcome back guys, and skate more!! ;) keep the skate scene alive!! :D

Unfortunately it rained not long after I get to skate.... poor me.. may be next time then... My gf and my cuz did manage to take some (blurry) pictures, which have yet to be edited and posted. InsyaAllah, I will try to post the pictures by the end of the week and next week lah.

2. There will be a follow up to the previous "Brunei Rollerblading Street Comp". This time, it will be held (obviously) at 3 other different locations, which is yet to be confirmed! I'll be meeting up with Bahrom this weekend to discuss further on the comp and an upcoming project for his shop (see below for more news).

The rough details are as follow:

• Entrance fee: $10 per person (free one tshirt with every registration - you can choose amongst 50++ tshirts from RPS)
• Date: Probably by end of May 2008 - to be confirmed
• Location: 3/5 different spots for the different rounds - again, locations are to be confirmed
• PRIZES: winner will win either a free return air-trip with (shared) accomodation to Kuala Lumpur (from BSB) OR a free return air-trip with (shared) accomodation to Kuching (from Miri). The air-ticket is sponsered by Bahrom (RockPaperScissors). Additionally, winners will get goodies from SURKREW and Wheel_Love.

Please take note that the current prizes and details that I've mentioned above are NOT YET FINALISED. I will update you guys once I get the (confirmed) details.

Also, additional (good) news to all is that, Samsul (winner of the Brunei Rollerblading Street Comp 2007), Cefu (runner-up) and Eyan (myself hehe) WILL NOT BE COMPETING this time around. So do come, join and support this event! Even if you're not competing, bring your friends, family, couzins, gf, bf, scandals, flings or who-ever to the event!! We need your support!!

3. InsyaAllah, I will be meeting up with Bahrom this weekend and would probably do a collaboration photoshoot. This project will be for his new stocks coming in for RockPaperScissors. This will be exciting! Keep checking back for further details/updates!

4. I will be collecting the new SURKREW tshirts later today! InsyAllah, these tshirts will be available for sale at 2 local shops (to be revealed later - I have yet to discuss the details with them.) So stay tuned.... :D

• There are 2 colours available - white and black
• These tshirts comes in 2 sizes - S and M, and in both ladies and mens cutting
